There was not too much going on so we had to try something interesting. This is real Limburger cheese. Marilynn was hesitant when I bought it. She made me open it outside. But when she tasted it, she quite enjoyed it. It does have a strange smell, but if you don't think about a baby's diaper--it can be quite enjoyable.
We got some fresh picked strawberries from a local stand and brought them home to make this desert. It is topped with vanilla quark. Quark is a sour milk product sort of like yogurt.
Our neighbors on the same floor of our building have a little daughter who had her first birthday Friday. This is the interesting cake they made.
