The weather is rain, rain, rain. That has limited some of our activities. Yesterday, we just worked around the house. Last night was stake conference--and then again today. Marilynn sang in the stake choir so we went early. This first picture is the choir having a prayer, the stake president Limer in the suit testing the microphone and Mike Spinden at the piano. The building is a rented hall in Friedberg, which is about 10K north of Friedrichsdorf.
This is the choir warming up. Marilynn is o the front row just to the right of the director.
Afterwards we saw a sister from the Hanau ward that we knew before. Her name is Monika Baeck-Reimer. Her family is from Graz Austria--the hometown of Arnold Schwartznegger--and my first city as a young missionary. We love meeting people that we knew the last time we were here.
