We took the train into Frankfurt from Friedrichsdorf to make sure we understood how to read the german train schedules. We knew that if we would make it to Frankfurt, we could make it to the airport when we have to travel. The first picture is people in downtown Frankfurt.
This picture is the Schmidt Lebkuchen store on the Roman Square in Frankfurt. Lebkuchen is a cookie made with nuts and spices that is very popular at Christmas. We like it any time. The dictionary translates Lebkuchen as ginger bread--but it is different than ginger bread.
