Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe in Kassel

We went home teaching to our family in Hohenahr--which is about one hour drive north-east of Frankfurt. Marilynn wanted to go to check out Kassel which should have been about one hour further. Every Wednesday they turn on the water displays--but we got there just after they turned of the real show. So we walked around the park anyway. This is looking up toward the Hercules statue on the tower.
This shows part of the castle.
Marilynn is standing on a bridge in the moss covered rocks.
This is looking back down at the castle from up on the hill.
This is an arched aqueduct that supplies water.
This pond is graced my several swans. Here comes one to see if we have something to eat.
